David Davolt was born in San Antonio Texas and grew up in Seattle Washington the oldest of four children. In the absence of any relatives in the Northwest, his family spent much time with their church family at West Seattle Christian Church.  David attended Junior High Camp at Pleasant Valley Christian Camp the first year that camp was held there and accepted Jesus that summer. That started a long relationship with Christian camping. He attended camps as a youth from junior high on, helped in camp as a young adult, directed and co-directed camps, served on the Board for Pleasant Valley and for many years served as President. He and his wife, of 35 years,  Melody have attended Family Camp for over twenty summers! He believes that Camp Changes Lives!
David and Melody have three children, two daughter-in-laws and one grandson. They enjoy traveling and take at least one major trip each year to places like Israel,  Europe, South American, Alaska and last year it was to Hawaii. Melody has found the joy of cruising and David is glad to make her happy. David and Melody both enjoy reading. David enjoys using his camera in all types of settings. He has taken up the game of golf since basketball has become a spectator sport for him. They love the outdoors and meeting people.
David has served on the camp board of Intermountain Christian Camp since moving to Boise to serve as Director of Development for
Boise Bible College in 2004. Each summer he and his wife spend several weeks attending camps around the Northwest representing Boise Bible College.
David also serves on the Intermountain Church Planting Board of Directors.
His life verses are:
Romans 12:1-2 :  So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

BURSTING AT THE SEAMS! We are blessed with excellent attendance at Jr. Camp and Middle School Summer camps, and as God continues to grow and develop our ministry, we find the camp in need of more cabin space. It is a wonderful growth problem to have in terms of reaching youth for Christ, sharing the gospel and impacting kids for eternity through our Christian camp ministry. Some of our camps are bursting at the seams with amazing attendance, and the new cabin needs to be built as soon as possible. Would you prayerfully consider contributing tax-deductible financial donations to ICC? If you are asking, "How can I give?" Donate by check:
